Dan Brennan
Since founding the Brennan Law Office in 2003, Dan Brennan has focused
a significant portion of his practice on protecting the
rights of consumers who have been abused by debt collectors
and credit reporting agencies, or burdened with
lemon law automobiles, mobile homes, recreational vehicles and
consumer products of all kinds.
A native Minnesotan and graduate of the University of Minnesota, Dan received his law degree, Magna Cum Laude, from William Mitchell College of Law in 1998. While at William Mitchell, Dan was a member of the William Mitchell Law Review.
Following graduation, Dan served as a law clerk for the Hon. Raymond L. Erickson, United States District Court for the District of Minnesota.
In 2000, Dan joined Bowman and Brooke LLP, a Minneapolis law firm that primarily represented major
automobile manufacturers in product liability litigation. In 2002, Dan left Bowman and Brooke to practice at Fredrikson & Byron, P.A., where he was a commercial litigator before starting his own law office.
Dan's experience with the federal courts led him to
represent clients who have been abused by debt collectors
and credit reporting agencies. Utilizing federal,
state laws, including the Fair Debt Collection
Practices Act and the Fair Credit Reporting Act, Dan has helped his
clients protect themselves from unscrupulous debt collectors
and the financial harm that can occur when ones credit
history is misstated on his or her credit report.
Dan is a member of the Minnesota State Bar Association, Hennepin County Bar Association
and National Association of Consumer Advocates, and is licensed to practice in Minnesota state and federal courts.
